Coordinate and manage activities of Avian Services Department including, but not limited to: manage all aspects of animal care facilities to guarantee the timely release of product to the customer, ensuring the proper care and treatment of animals; train, coordinate and provide technical support for technicians; coordinate timely scheduling tests; compile, review and submit all USDA documentation and paperwork to support release of licensed products; analyze and trend testing data: coordinate the testing of product and the prompt reporting of test data to affected departments; coordinate research and development projects with the R&D and Process Improvement Departments; implement and enforce GMP’s and GLP’s and insure compliance with 9 CFR regulations; promote and build team concepts both within the department and company. - Quality Control Analyst III
The position will include routine testing of in-process and final container samples for the release of avian vaccines. The individual will be responsible for ensuring all methods are performed as written and filed with regulatory agencies. The individual may conduct specific studies or projects to improve the quality or efficiency of the company’s products or procedures. The QC Analyst III will provide administrative and technical support in the absence of the QC Manager.

This position coordinates and conducts the validation of equipment of Lohmann Animal Health International. This position will require the employee to schedule, monitor, and perform validation of equipment on an ongoing basis to ensure LAHI is in compliance with domestic and foreign regulations and that the risk of changes to our procedures is minimal. The employee will be responsible for planning and carrying out validations (Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ)), resolving conflicts which may arise and coordinating the work with others as necessary. This position will require the ability to research, set, and adapt standards as necessary; the employee will analyze results and recommend changes. This position also works very closely with Production, Quality Control, Process Improvement, Facilities, and Regulatory Departments.
