LAH Names Patricia Smith Regulatory Affairs Manager
WINSLOW, MAINE (July 10, 2008) — Patricia Dube Smith has accepted the role of Regulatory Affairs Manager for Lohmann Animal Health, beginning in May, 2008.
In her new position, she oversees the preparation, control and submission of documents to the USDA and international authorities related to the licensing and registration of company products. She also is responsible for the company’s Select Agent Program.
Prior to this position, she worked with LAH as a Quality Control (QC) Analyst, a QC Team Leader, QC Supervisor and QC and Testing Services Manager. She brings 23 years experience as a Medical Technologist in laboratories and hospitals.
Smith studied at the University of Maine, the University of Rhode Island and she attended the CLA Program at Augusta General Hospital. Her certifications include the MT (HEW) and the MT (ISCLT).
